Refund Policy

At AHA Plugins (operated by Expand Up Tecnologia da Informacao LTDA), we want you to be satisfied with our products. We understand that sometimes a plugin might not work as expected or simply isn’t the right fit for your project. Because our products are digital and can be downloaded instantly, we have a specific policy regarding refunds to protect both our business and our customers.
1. Refund Eligibility
Our refund policy depends on whether you are purchasing a product that has a free version available for testing.
A. Products with a Free Version (Freemium Plugins) For plugins that offer a free/lite version, we highly encourage you to try them before upgrading. Because you have the opportunity to test the product’s core features and compatibility beforehand, all sales of PRO upgrades are generally final. We will only offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase if:
- The PRO features cause a critical, reproducible error on your website.
- You have contacted our support team, and we were unable to resolve the technical issue after being given a fair chance to assist you.
B. Products without a Free Version (Premium-Only) For standalone premium plugins without a free trial, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. You are eligible for a full refund provided that:
- You request the refund within 14 days of the original purchase date.
- You have first contacted our support team, and we were unable to resolve the technical issue you are experiencing.
- You are not requesting a refund due to a simple change of mind after using the product extensively.
2. When Refunds Are Not Granted
We generally do not issue refunds in the following cases:
- Change of Mind (Freemium): You decided you no longer want the product after downloading the PRO version, despite having access to the free version beforehand.
- Lack of Technical Knowledge: You are unable to install or configure the plugin due to a lack of basic WordPress knowledge, and have not allowed our support team to assist you.
- Third-Party Conflicts: The issue is caused by a conflict with your theme, another plugin, or custom server setups that are outside our control (though we will always try our best to help you troubleshoot).
- Subscription Renewals: We do not refund automatic subscription renewals. It is the customer’s responsibility to manage and cancel subscriptions before the renewal date.
- Discounted Items: Items purchased at a significant discount or during specific clearance sales may be marked as “non-refundable.”
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please send an email to contact@ahaplugins.com with the following information:
- Your full name.
- Your order number.
- The email address associated with the purchase.
- A brief explanation of why you are requesting the refund (this helps us improve our products!).
Once your request is received and reviewed, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your license key will be deactivated, the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, usually within 5–10 business days.
