1. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order, creating an account, or using our products, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products.
2. Product Licensing and Usage
Our WordPress plugins are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2.0 or later.
- The Software: Because our plugins are licensed under the GPL, you have the right to use the software on as many websites as you like.
- The License Key: While the software code is GPL, your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable License Key. This key dictates your access to our premium support, automatic updates, and cloud-based features for the specific number of websites allowed by your purchased plan.
- Prohibited Use of License Keys: You may not share, resell, or publicly distribute your personal License Key. If we detect that a License Key is being abused, shared publicly, or used on more sites than your plan permits, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the license without notice or refund.
3. Subscriptions and Automatic Renewals
If you purchase a subscription-based product (e.g., an annual license), it will automatically renew at the end of the billing cycle.
- Billing: Your payment method on file (securely processed by Stripe) will be charged automatically on the renewal date to ensure uninterrupted access to updates and support.
- Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your AHA Plugins account dashboard. Canceling a subscription does not revoke your current license; it simply prevents the automatic renewal. You will continue to receive updates and support until your current paid term expires.
4. Intellectual Property
While the plugin code is GPL, all content on ahaplugins.com—including the “AHA Plugins” name, logos, text, graphics, documentation, and marketing materials—is the exclusive property of Expand Up Tecnologia da Informacao LTDA and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership of any of our branding or products.
5. Aha Labs – Idea Submission Program Through our Aha Labs program, users may submit suggestions, feature requests, or complete ideas for new WordPress plugins. By submitting an idea, you agree to the following:
- Ownership & Intellectual Property: You acknowledge that your submission is voluntary and provided without confidentiality. You grant Expand Up Tecnologia da Informacao LTDA a perpetual, irrevocable, and royalty-free right to use, modify, develop, and commercialize the idea in any way we see fit. Submission of an idea does not create any partnership, employment, or joint venture relationship.
- Reward (Lifetime Access): If your idea is selected, approved, and developed into a final product by AHA Plugins, you will be entitled to one (1) Lifetime License for that specific plugin. This license includes lifetime updates and support. No other compensation (monetary or otherwise) will be provided.
- No Guarantee of Development: We reserve the right to decide which ideas are developed. AHA Plugins is under no obligation to provide feedback or reasons for why an idea was not selected.
- Prior Art & Similar Ideas: You acknowledge that AHA Plugins may already be working on similar ideas or may have received similar suggestions from other sources. Our development of a plugin similar to your suggestion does not entitle you to rewards unless we explicitly confirm your idea was the primary inspiration for the project.
6. Updates and Support
- Updates: We provide updates to our plugins to ensure compatibility with the latest versions of WordPress, add new features, and provide security patches. Access to automatic updates requires an active and valid License Key.
- Support: Technical support is provided solely to the original purchaser with an active License Key. We reserve the right to decline support if the product is being used in an environment or manner that violates these terms, or if the user exhibits abusive or unprofessional behavior toward our support staff.
7. Limitation of Liability
AHA Plugins provides its products “as is.” While we strictly test and strive to ensure our plugins are secure, highly functional, and reliable, we do not guarantee that they will function flawlessly with all 3rd-party themes, plugins, hosting environments, or future versions of WordPress. In no event shall AHA Plugins or Expand Up Tecnologia da Informacao LTDA be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including, without limitation, lost profits, business interruption, or data loss) resulting from the use or inability to use our plugins.
8. User Conduct
By using our site and services, you agree not to:
- Use our products or website for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Interfere with the security or operation of our website, licensing servers, or payment gateways.
- Reproduce or distribute our premium assets (such as proprietary documentation) without permission.
9. Changes to Terms
